I'm an intelligent American (if that's not an oxymoron -- he, he) wanting to correspond with Pakistanis about governance, history, politics, and whatever else seems mutually interesting to us. I am not looking to date or to find a life partner; I'm already quite thoroughly married and the father of a 13 year old son, thank you. In the mid 1960's I was in military service and stationed just outside Peshawar. I traveled some in Pakistan at that time (Rawalpindi, locally about Peshawar, Swat, Islamabad). From that time and, especially, since 2001, I've wanted to know what Pakistan people think about world events and how best to defeat our mutual extremist enemies. I hope, in having dialog with members of this site to learn about you and your nation and, perhaps, to tell you something about me and mine.
