Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
Perfect Evening: Candle-lit dinner with my other half Perfect Weekend: Out and about travelling, by car or by train, seeing somewhere new, having a picnic on lush green grass, taking photos, feeling the thrill of life
How many kids would you like to have?
A mix of boys and girls would be lovely .. at least 2, more depending on what my wife would want
What do your friends tease you about the most?
When I'm dressed for the 70's (maroon flares and blue leather jacket)
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Honesty...because honesty builds trust...and without trust there is no relationship. Looks do matter too, and I disagree with people who think that going for looks means you're more likely to have a mid-life crisis when your partner doesn't look how they did 20 years ago. Such people don't understand love. Love is more about just loving how someone looks. While we often wish to get to know someone because we're physically attracted and we share things in common, over time it is the bonding between the 2 personalities that helps the love grow. So much so that in the end you're unable to pinpoint exactly why you love your partner .. s/he is just fascinating, and the only person you can imagine yourself being with! Also it's important to have similar core beliefs, otherwise there'd be an element of friction never too far around the corner. However, mutual respect is perhaps more important, because we are all so multi-faceted that we're bound to have our differences. So respecting one's partner is really important. The element of surprise, genuine affection and showing your partner that nothing matters more to you than them is also ideal.
What turns you off?
People who are not prepared to take the time to listen to and appreciate a point of view they may not necessarily agree with. Maybe I can be more clear by saying what I do like the most, and then it's the opposite of that .. intelligent talkative exciting people who like to do things (have a passion for life) and are not quick to judge people.
