About me? I converted to Islam in 2001. I love traveling, reading, learning new things, hiking and just exploring this wonderful world we live in. Yes: there are lots of terrible things, but lots of great things too. I'm tired of walking life alone, but that seems to be Allah's plan for me right now. I'm a moderate Muslim, and so far I don't wear hijab. Mostly, everybody calls me a sweetie, brave, adventurous, independent, creative... and a total bookworm. What am I looking for? Ideally somebody honest, sincere, funny... NOT seeking a green-card, with good heart. Able to cook, sing, dance, and help around the house is a big plus, or at least willing to learn or do on occasion. Somebody willing to debate both sides of issues, just to challenge each others thinking, play and laugh and explore the world together... yet also able to understand that I need a bit of alone time now and then. Also: I want somebody able to help me grow in Islam, and language, and knowledge... and able to accept my help as well. Life is a partnership, with shared responsibilities. Oh: and must be non-smoker, non-drinker, never ever drugs. All 3 are bad for you (only alcohol has some benefit, according to qur'an, yet is forbidden. The rest has no benefit at all, and only harm, so where's the logic?) Yeah, I'm picky... made it difficult to find a life partner before becoming Muslim. After converting, my choices are even fewer. I sometimes feel I'm the only one of my species.
